Talk:Registration
Who is a Wikimedia contributor?
The registration page has a rate that says "Wikimedia contributor or student (US $)" in the column heading. Who is a Wikimedia contributor? People who made donations? Experienced editors on Wikipedia? I am quite willing to pay the full early registration price, but I am asking now for clarity for future registrants.--Dthomsen8 20:07, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
- If you are a registered user (e.g. have a username), that counts for the discount. Cheers. Aude 05:00, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Trouble logging in
I made an account a month or so ago and I have had some trouble logging in, possibly because I forgot my password. The automated system does not seem to work very well for resetting my password, although I was able to get in and register. I would like to be able to log in and out easily, however. Any suggestions?--Filll

SUL login not usable?
I am logged in here using my SUL as normal, but it doesn't work on the registration page at https://secure.wikidc.org/wm/reg/ . Has something gone wrong, or do I need to make yet another "account" with yet another password?
It's quite comical that I need to pass CAPTCHA in order to refer to a link to the registration page as well. --RexxS (talk) 18:42, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately the registration system is not integrated with the wiki, so you do need to make an another account there to register. We hope things can be better integrated for next year. Aude (talk) 20:58, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
