WALRUS Congress
The 2012 WALRUS Congress, being held on Wednesday July 11, is an inaugural event that aims to bring together Wikimedians Active in Local Regions of the United States (WALRUS) as representatives of chapters and regional groups, national and regional GLAM and outreach coordinators, and other interested Wikipedians and Wikimedians from across the breadth of the United States. We invite all Wikimania attendees—whether from the United States or around the world—to join us for an evening of discussion, collaboration, and excitement!
We will hold the WALRUS Congress as an extended lunch meeting on Wednesday July 11 from 11am-1pm in room 307 at Wikimania's George Washington University venue, right before the Wikipedia Loves Libraries meeting. |
