Abstract (please use no less than 300 words to describe your proposal)
Wikipedia - be it in English or in any of the multitude of languages across the world - is one sure place where enthusiastic knowledge-seekers look for any valuable piece of information. Thus, when somebody wants to know more about Nuclear Power,Global Warming, Myamarese leader Aung San Suu Kyi, Falun Gong Sect, etc, one sure place to get the desired information with a reasonable degree of accuracy is the Wikipedia. However, like all other encyclopedias, Wikipedia also needs constant update on the topics which it showcases and also requires new topics to be added. Thus, some of the topics on which Wikipedia does not have articles as on the date of this submission are as follows (the links lead to a non-Wiki webpage):

The objective of my presentation is not to negate or belittle the good work done by millions of Wikipedians across the world. Rather, I intend to discuss the topics where probably knowledgeable articles can be created. I regret that since I hail from India, the examples I may be offering might be having an Asian geographical orientation, but I am sure that my presentation will provide the valuable insight into the areas in which all Wikipedia editors - novice as well as experienced - need to work.
