LGBT Meetup
The Third[1] Annual Wikimania LGBT Meetup at Wikimania 2012 in DC will bring together LGBT Wikimedians from around the globe.
Wikimedia LGBT Outreach Project
There will be a traditional wiki meetup format with focus on LGBT content development, LGBT editor recruitment and community building between the LGBT and ally communities.
The intention is to keep momentum going from Haifa (and before) and hold an annual meetup at subsequent Wikimanias.
This event is organized by the Wikimedia LGBT Outreach Project. People interested in participating in this new Project can join a brief meeting of like-minded volunteers, following the meetup, to outline goals and activities for upcoming year.
Time / Location
- Friday, July 13th @ 16:30
- Gather in Room 310.
- After the meetup, interested folks will travel to local LGBT establishments to continue the festivities
